On the 10th day of our trip to Xinjiang in 2023, we came to the Tianshan Tianchi, a national 5A-level scenic spot near Urumqi, to experience its beautiful natural scenery and different ethnic customs in this picturesque place.

We will ride up the mountain and come to the side of Tianchi to see the legendary scenery.

• Tianshan Tianchi

Tianshan Tianchi is 45 kilometers away from Urumqi. It has a long and narrow shape, about 3 kilometers long from north to south and 1.5 kilometers wide.

The Tianshan Tianchi Nature Reserve was established in 1980; the International Man and Nature Biosphere Reserve was approved by UNESCO in 1990; the protected area is about 1,600 square kilometers; it was rated as a 5A tourist attraction in 2007; it was included in the list in 2013 UNESCO World Heritage List.
