On the second day of officially starting our trip, we traveled north from Beitun to the beautiful Kanas scenic spot.

Kanas is the northern border of Xinjiang, with Russia to the north, Kazakhstan to the west, and Mongolia to the east. The Altay region where it is located also extends to the northwest. Kanas Lake is a famous crescent-shaped freshwater lake, covering an area of 45.73 square kilometers, with an average water depth of 120 meters and the deepest point of 188.5 meters. Kanas Lake is said to be haunted by lake monsters, which are said to be 10 meters long. The scenery of the lake is beautiful, surrounded by lush forests. We will enjoy the beautiful Kanas Lake and the villages where Tuva people live in Kanas Scenic Area.
