On the 8th day of the Xinjiang trip in 2023, we came to the Bayinbulak Prairie Scenic Area!
Compared with the Nalati scenic spot we went to yesterday, there are fewer things to watch here - Swan Homeland, Barunkure Lama Temple and Nine Curves and Eighteen Bends (Jiuqu Shibawan). In addition to seeing the scenery, it is to see the Turghut Mongolian tribe returning from the east Living prairie.
Bayinbuluk Scenic Spot is located in Hejing County, Bayingolin Mongolia Autonomous Prefecture. The scenic spot is located in the intermountain basin of the Tianshan uplift belt, with a total grassland area of 23,835 square kilometers.
In Bayinbulak in history, in 1771, the Turghut Mongolian tribe set off from the lower reaches of the Volga River to return to the homeland of Western Mongolia, and finally “settled” in Bayinbulak in 1774.
