We headed south from central Iran to Shiraz, the city of poets, literature, gardens, wine, nightingales and flowers.
As described above, Shiraz is “rich” in poets, such as the great Iranian poet Hafez.
As the capital of Fars Province and with a population of 2 million, Shiraz also has many religious sites. Shah Cheragh we are going to is the third holy tomb in Iran. It was the first time we saw it. To a cemetery built so shiny.
We will also try Shiraz’s local version of mutton steamed buns - DIZI. If you want to know how it tastes, watch the video breakdown.
